Blantyre Farms is a highly productive farming and livestock business situated near Young in the South West Slopes region of New South Wales. Owned and operated by Michael and Edwina Beveridge, Blantyre Farms is primarily renowned for its 2,200 sow pig operation. Agricultural operations also extend to cropping, together with beef, wool and lamb production.

Established in 2007, Blantyre Farms provides employment to more than 40 staff.

Blantyre Farms is a leader in renewable energy when in 2011 it became the first farm in Australia to have a registered project under the government’s Carbon Farming Initiative program and installed a biogas generator to capture methane from the pig manure and turn it into electricity.
